The North Texas Regional Technology
Consortium (NTRTC) received an Advanced Technology Education Grant of
$600,000 over two years from the National Science Foundation
(NSF). This grant focuses on regional access to
the Convergence Lab, articulation agreements with partner
education institutions and implementing an
Educator-to-Educator (E2E) virtual training center for
faculty and high school teachers. Grant funds are
also used to prepare high-tech workers for industry, to
help industry partners develop new products and to put
faculty in touch with emerging technologies like those in
the new Convergence Lab.
